Lei joined the State Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications as a lecturer in Fall 2022. Prior to this, she served as a postdoctoral scholar at Shenzhen University from 2019 to 2022, and as a visiting postdoctoral scholar at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands from 2020 to 2021. Lei received her PhD in Electronic Science and Technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in Fall 2019.
Lei's current research focuses on topological photonics, nanophotonics and plasmonics. Lei has authored and co-authored over 30 publications in journals such as Photonics Research, Optics Letters, Optics Express, Optical Materials Express, New Journal of Physics, Advanced Photonics Research, Materials & Design, and more.
