Dr. Xianfeng Tang is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering and a member of the state key laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in physical electronics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2011. His research mainly focuses on high-speed optical communication and optical layer security. He is the author of several patents and more than 100 papers in top journals and conferences. He has published two books and translated the book of Optics by Prof. Ajoy Ghatak. He has served as the reviewer of several top journals such as Advances in Optics and Photonics、Journal of Lightwave Technology、Optics Letters、Optics Express、Photonics Journal、Journal of Optics and Laser Technology and Journal of the Optical Society of America A, etc. He was awarded second prize of science and technology progress award of Ministry of Education in 2015 and Excellent Instructor of College Students' innovation and Entrepreneurship Project in 2016.
