Ao Zhou is an Associate Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. Her research interests include service computing, cloud computing, and mobile edge computing. She is a PI or Co-PI of several network service-involved research projects funded by National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Key Research and Development Program of Guangdong Province. She has published over 90 papers. According to Google Scholar, her papers have reserved over 3000 citations. Her recent work can be found on premier journals such as IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions Service Computing, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, along with high-impact conferences such as, WWW, MOBICOM, INFOCOM, MOBISYS and ICWS, et al. She has been honored with many technical awards, including the Best Paper Award at the IEEE ICWS 2023 conference, the Best Paper Award at the CollaborateCom 2022 conference, the Best Paper Award at the IEEE EDGE 2021 conference, CCF TCSC Young Talent Award, the Second Prize for Natural Science Award of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and the First Prize of China Computer Federation (CCF) Technology Invention Award.  She served as TPC Chair of IEEE DATACOM 2021, IEEE SAGC 2020, CBPM 2020, and CollaborateCom 2016, etc.
