Educational background
From 2014 to 2016, pursued a master's degree under the guidance of Dr. Maurizio Corbetta in the MRI team at Washington University in St. Louis (ranked among the top five medical schools in the United States). From 2016 to 2021, pursued a Ph.D. in the cardiac MRI team led by Dr. Michael Salerno at the University of Virginia, during which received the American Heart Association (AHA) Doctoral Scholarship. In 2021, returned to China and joined Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. In 2022, received third place in the Young Investigator Award from the International Society for Chinese Medical Magnetic Resonance and became a finalist for the International Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Young Investigator Award.
Research collaboration
Over the past decade, has been engaged in MRI technology research, establishing close collaborations with Stanford University, University of California, San Francisco, University of Iowa, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and several top hospitals in China. Maintains good cooperation with leading medical imaging equipment manufacturers such as Siemens. The team has been recognized by Siemens Healthcare as a Core Competence Partner (MRA), and the sequences developed have been applied to radiology and cardiology departments of various research centers and affiliated hospitals through C2P agreements.
Research Achievements
In terms of scientific research achievements, has published over 30 papers in top international journals and conferences in the field, including four first-author papers in the leading journals MRM and JCMR, and 11 first-author papers in top international conferences ISMRM and SCMR, earning seven outstanding paper awards. Additionally, has applied for two patents as the first author. As a principal investigator, has successfully obtained funding for a project from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and completed a project funded by the American Heart Association. Has also participated in several rapid cardiac imaging projects funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation.
Research interesets
Research interests lie in solving clinical problems using fundamental science, aiming to aid in the diagnosis and prediction of human diseases through imaging technology. Current research directions include AI-based MRI, medical image processing, and intelligent healthcare, covering specific areas such as cardiovascular MR, MRI pulse sequence development, non-Cartesian MRI, image reconstruction, compressed sensing, signal processing, structural imaging, quantitative imaging, deep learning, image classification, and image segmentation.
Students interested in MRI, medical image processing, and intelligent healthcare are welcome to join the team.
