Dr. Changqiao Xu is a Professor of Department of Computer Science and Technology, and Director of the Network Architecture Research Center with the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China. He received his PhD degree in Computer Applied Technology from Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS) in Jan 2009. He was an Assistant Research Fellow in ISCAS from 2002 to 2007, where he was research and development project manager in the area communication networks. During 2007-2009, he was a researcher at Athlone Institute of Technology(AIT) and Joint PhD at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. Dr. Xu joined BUPT in Dec. 2009. He was Assistant Professor from Dec. 2009 to Nov. 2011, Associate Professor from Dec. 2011 to Nov. 2016, Professor from Dec. 2016. He was the winner of Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2015. He was elected  as the Young scholar of the Yangtze River Scholars award in 2016. His research interests include Mobile Internet Technology, Emerging Networking and Telecommunications, Multimedia Communications, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Network Security. He has published over 160 technical papers in prestigious international journals including IEEE/ACM Trans. on Networking, IEEE Comm. Magazine, IEEE Wireless Comm.,  IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, and well-known conferences such as IEEE INFOCOM, ACM Multimedia etc. He served as TPC Chair of ACM Mobimedia 2015, Publicity Co-Chair of AdHoc-Now 2020 and IEEE HPSR 2019, TPC Track Co-Chair of NaNA 2016/'17/'18/'19, ICT 2016 and IWCMC 2016/'17/'18/'19, TPC of Infocom, ACM MobiHoc, IEEE ICC, Globecom etc. He currently serves as  Editor-in-Chief of Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (Wiley) and Co-Chair of IEEE MMTC Interest Group "Green Multimedia Communications". He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
