The Network Architecture Research Center (NARC) is a Research, Development, and Innovation team. NARC aims at conducting strategic and advanced research in the field of Future Internet, participating in industry standardization process, promoting applications of significant research results, building long-term collaborations combining production, teaching and research communities, and improving independent innovation capability and competitive strength of Future Internet industry. NARC has 17 faculty fellows, including 4 professors, 10 associate professors and 2 lecturers. 

In recent years, NARC has undertaken the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Project), the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Project), Key Projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Key Technologies R&D Program of China. In addition, NARC has possessed dozens of patents, submitted dozens of international standard drafts, and published several books and over 500 papers, with numerous ESI high-indexed papers. Meanwhile, NARC has hosted a number of international conferences, and built collaboration with well-known companies, including Huawei Technologies, ZTE Corporation, Intel, and Qualcomm, etc. At present, NARC is focusing on the academic and industrial promotion for future smart network.
