Personal Profile

Yifan Zhu is an assistant professor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He received a Phd degree from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2021, and served as a Postdoctoral/Assistant Researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University from 2021 to 2023. His research interests include graph data mining, recommendation systems, brain network analysis, open source intelligence mining, and social networks. He has published over 30 high-quality papers in top international conferences and journals such as KDD, WWW, and TKDE, and received the runner-up Best Paper Award at ECML-PKDD 2023. He has led one project supported by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and participated in three national projects, including the National Key R&D Program and the major project of "New Generation Artificial Intelligence" in the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 program. The algorithmic recommendation techniques proposed by him have been applied to the academic intelligence platform AMiner. He serves as a program committee member for top international conferences such as AAAI 2022-2024, IJCAI 2023, and ECML-PKDD 2022, and as a reviewer for renowned international academic journals such as IEEE-TITS, ACM-TKDD, and IEEE-TBD. He has also served as a guest editor for international academic journals including WCMC and IJDSN.
