Yifan Zhu, Assistant Professor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2021. He served as a Postdoctoral/Assistant Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Tsinghua University from 2021 to 2023. His research interests include graph data mining, recommendation systems, LLM-based applications, brain network analysis, open-source intelligence mining, social networks, etc.

He has published more than 40 high-quality papers at top international academic conferences and journals such as KDD, TOIS, MM, TKDE, etc., and received the best student paper award at ECML-PKDD 2023.

He has led one project funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and participated in three national projects including the National Key Research and Development Program. The recommendation algorithm technology he proposed has been applied to the scientific and technological information platform AMiner.

He is a member of the editorial board of the well-known journal Information Fusion in the field of data mining and has served as session chair at conferences such as ISPA 2019 and BESC 2024. He also serves as a program committee member for international important conferences including NeuralPS'24, MM'24, WWW'24, AAAI'22-25, IJCAI'23-24, ECML-PKDD'22, etc., and as a reviewer for renowned international academic journals such as ACM-TOIS, IEEE-TITS, ACM-TKDD, IEEE-TBD, IEEE-TCSS. He has also served as a guest editor for international journals such as WCMC, IJDSN, and Electronics.
