Dr. ZEHUA GAO

He was born in Shandong, China, in 1971. He received his PhD in the University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT),

China, in 2002. He was a visiting schoolar in University of California, Los Angeles(UCLA) from 2015 to 2016. 

He is currently an associate professor of BUPT. 


His research interests include Nano-Robot communication, metaverse, 6G body area network, 

Internet of Things, terahertz technology,optical communications and TRIZ. 


Research projects inlude National Nature Science Foundation of China, National High-Technology Research and 

Development Program("863"Program) of China,  National Nature Science Foundation of China, 

National Key Research and Development Program of China.


More than 100 academic papers in international and domestic academic journals and conferences were published.

He won the gold award and communication information special award in the third Beijing Invention and 

Innovation Competition in 2008. His team won the National Champion of the AIIA Artificial Intelligence Competition.

He proposed a disruptive original coordinate system: a zone coordinate system that supports digital operations 

in the computer age(Zehua Gao, et al. Zone Coordinates: A New Coordinate System. 2017 17th IEEE ICCT. 1774-1777). 

It can solve the Bug in the Two Dimensional Expansion of the Solar System by the Two Dimensional Foil in 

Science Fiction Three-body

What is the area of the solar system after two-dimensional expansion by the weapon Two way Foil in Science Fiction 

Three Body? It should be infinit by mathematical answer. But it is not realistic in physics. It can solved by 

zone coordinate system. 

Physically, the minimum size is 1.6*10^(-35)m by Planck length. So the area of the solar system after two-dimensional 

expansion is limited.In the zone coordinate system, lines have width, surfaces have thickness, and points have radius. 

This overturns the traditional definition of a horizontal size of points, lines, and planes in traditional coordinate systems is 0.

Lines have width, surfaces have thickness, and points have radius in zone coordinate system.

In the real world, even small as atoms, neutrons, and protons occupy a certain spatial size. Each stored bit 

occupies a certain space and is digitized in computer digital information processing.Zone coordinate system 

is a coordinate system that is particularly suitable for physical reality. Zone coordinate system can be used 

in computer and mathematical operations such as matrix operations.The traditional coordinate system is 

used for continuous mathematics and continuous functions.

We can't prove the continuity hypothesis by logical perspective. Digital Operations could be implemented in 

Geometric Space by Using zone coordinate systems.Zone coordinate system could be used in Discrete Mathematics, 

Logic, Set Theory, Fundamentals of Number Theory, Algorithm Design, Combinatorial Analysis, Discrete Probability, 

Fractal Iteration, Chaos, Matrix Operations, Relationship Theory, Graph Theory and Trees, Abstract Algebra,
